When/if you have free-time, how do you pass the time?

I always carry a book with me.  Even if I only get 5 mins I've got my nose stuck in it.

Right no i have nothing but free time waiting for my settlement before going back to work and moving.  I have to leave my house in June.

Frankly, I watch TV, interact on cafemom, read, work on my nursing recertification...but mostly I watch TV.  Not too healthy but a diversion.  I have never been a couch potatoe in my life; never not exercised.  I guess once I move and have my finances settled I will start to live again.  I hope so.  I wish I had the ability to do that now, but I just don't have it yet.  At least I am no longer depressed.:)

Take care.  I am embarrassed to admit my lethargy but I am being honest...

Social media! And chasing work opportunities but I need to do that more. Reading up on the internet, coping and commisserating stuff mainly lately. Hardly watch TV. Love taking bubble baths but rarely have time for that, have started to go to drop-in exercise classes or go to the local park/basketball court with DD and shoot, throw and kick a ball around or "race" her on her scooter. Joined meetup but rarely get out as I need to get a sitter and that costs... Basic absorbing, diversionary and pampering stuff...

I'm the same way right now!! Except I was planning to go into Real Estate.  Took the classes last Spring and was going to sit for the exam once the boys returned to school.  Instead I filed Aug 30th.  I'm having a bad day today cuz of "floundering".  It's driving me crazy.  I made sure to exercise.  Went out on some errands but still feel crappy.  Been into movies from the library more than reg tv (dwn to basic cable).  Even commercials make me angry.  I can't wait to get out of this rut!

When it's nice outside I go for a walk with my dog.  If it's raining outside I grab a book to read or a good cd to watch.  Then I'll see what's on the DVR that I taped the other day.  Normally there's laundry or cleaning around the house.  I normally do that.  I basically keep myself busy when I do have the free time.
