had a piece of clothing that you love and it finally shrinks :(

i have an awesome black hooded cardigan that i have worn out and figured out today that its shrunk, its about 10 years old so im lucky it lasted this long and now i can't find anything similar to it anywhere :(

I never let my husband do the laundry because of his shrinking capabilities.

He once threw a dry clean only DVF wrap dress in the wash. I had it in my laundry basket labeled "dry cleaners". 

Silk dress, $220, washed in hot and dried on high. Went from a size 8 to a 00 in less than two hours. 

I cried.
