Do you like the movies?
Did you like this one? I love the ending scene when Bella bout dies and then opens her eyes at the end. Very powerful!
LOVE them! I totally saw the ending being just as it was during the controversy when ppl were asking "how do you think it will end?" It was just the way I thought Stephanie Meyers and the producers/directors would have it end! I couldn't see it ending as it does in the book after Bella is to find out that Jake imprinted...
I also feel that they did a great job of following the major points in the book as well. I was disappointed with Eclipse only because they cut out like 1/2 the book!
I can't wait to see how well pt 2 follows the book and how Bella's transformation is displayed!
My prof pg is twilight... and I know you've seen my twilight siggy on here... My kids are twifans too! Two girls are Team Jacob and one is Team Edward. This momma??? Team Switzerland! lol
I just watched it a couple days ago. Good movie, but during the scenes where she was pregnant and wasting away, you could SEE where they digitally altered her face to make it look more hollow...the screen kinda ripples close to her face in the close-ups. But I'm just being picky! LOL I liked how her eyes were red in the last scene!

I am even more excited about The Hunger Games, though! Totally digged those books more than Twilight.

Oh I do too! I also like his hand movements over her chest when he has to leave her after biting her to go fight. Subtle movements but really cool.
I loved the books but not a huge fan of the movies. I also wonder just how healthy these are for young women. Bella chooses a living death over a normal life. Not much of a choice and there could probably be lots of stuff written about how screwed up she is as an individual.

Not an issue in my family. We do not use TV, Movies or other media to get our role models from. We use from within. Mothers, grandmothers teachers and coaches in this house. I taught my kid from an early age that media is for entertainment puproses only. With twilight being obviously science fiction, that wasnt hard to convey. I happen to Like Bellas character and who she is in the movies though. Dont personally see anything wrong with what her character is conveying. Just in case I was to be influenced by a movie.
