Hmm....in 05 he went when he adopted ds, 06 he had visitation set up for sd, 09 he got custody of sd (done through lawyer, no court appearance), 10 he got visitation formally set up for ss (again through lawyer, no appearance), and then in 11 to modify visitation for ss.

DH petitioned for custody in June 2011, there have been 2 hearings and the third is set for this June.  At the first hearing DH was granted 6 month temporary custody, at the second hearing DH custody was extended for another 6 months b/c BM requested additional time to get established.  The third hearing is suppose to be the final, but we are pretty sure that BM will request another continuance since they have delayed DH CS case until final custody is determined.

Twice, 2004 and 2006, the last time no final order was made, only an interim one, BM filed that one and she doesn't seem interested in it anymore. DH has no interest either.

Dh went when they got divorced in 03'. In 07' he tried, but the lawyer ended up taking our money and nothing got done. In 11' he was given temporary full custody and we're waiting to have the final.

Divorce, 2 contempts, emergency custody, dropping supervised visits and making it all permanent.

6 in 10 years.

3 so far and we will go atleast twice more this year from the looks of it. BM is attempting to appeal the CO which was mediated. I'm not sure why she is appealing her own decision but that's just her brand of crazy. Our lawyer says it will be dismissed or BM will be charged with frivolous filling. The state is also taking BM to court for CS and arrears, so a minimum of 2 more times to go. In my experience it won't all get resolved the first go round though, and if BM has anything to do with it (and she does) she will do more frivolous filling.
