Sd comes in this evening telling her dad that she needs 30 cans of food bc she needs 30 EXTRA points in one of her classes
Now over the years of being with dh and raising children together, I could normally answer this question for him... He would have said hell no, if you need 30 points that is your problem, I'm not gonna go into town and buy your grade for you ..
Well guess he's changed a lot in the last six months bc guess where he is at right now?
If things don't get better around here soon I am going to have to leave and let little princess and daddy yes mam have it all to themselves! Wtf!

Why let the little things bother you? Are they really worth your marriage?

To be fair, my parents changed quite a bit over time too, and something they wouldn't have done for one child or a child at a certain age, they would do for another one in a different situation.

Im sorry, but there would be no way on earth, even if it was my biokid, that I would go buy groceries for a grade.

That is insane!

I hear you...just wait..it will backfire eventually. Dh won't know why sd misbehaves or gets bad grades....so hard to get them (dhs) to acknowlege they are part of the problem....sorry that is frustrating
