If your DH/SO & BM share...

Visitation with the kids and then BM gets a job or for whatever reason decides to move to another state, and your DH/SO decides to follow to that state (for the kids) would you uproot yourself and move as well, or would you wish your DH/SO the best of luck on his journey (as you will be staying where you are)??

I would most certainly go with my husband.

BM lived in 4 different states last year. Thankfully she is NCP. BM was also the one who chose to move 2hrs away from SS to begin with. She has said she will never move back to this state. BM and her DH have no jobs, while DH has been steadily employed for over 10 years.

If BM was CP, Dh would fight the move before he would follow her. Then we would have to consider what was best for our DDs also.

Depends on what was best for the kids, what the terms would be and all that.

DH and I have children together so no we wouldn't uproot our lives and our full-time children in the interests of a non-custodial child.
