Lets see if I can word this lol

I just read a reply about a sm babysitting her skids bm's step kids.

that seems way too extended to me! I would not like my kids sm to be loaning my kids to her kids sm. Just give them back to their biological mom at that point lol

p.s. dont take offense if you know who im referring to because I dont even remember the screen name :P

Eh, it depends on the situation. If they live close and get along then who cares. I honestly don't get why some moms are so territorial, esspecially when the kids are older.

For me it's because I made her I'll raise her. If her bf has sm babysit her whatever but when it comes to sm trying pawn off kids just freaking send them home.

Do you ever use a babysitter for your kids? I think the post was about babysitting. Like for example, BM has to go to an appointment and needs a sitter for a couple hours, would you do it?

It's not about raising BM's (other) kids. Babysitting for a few hours is not raising.

oh wait... BM's STEP kids?

hmmm. I'm confused, I must be thinking of a different post.

Yeah, that would have been my post. I did not baby-sit them, they're 13 and 14 so they're old enough to do for themselves. The girl doesn't have a mom she can go to if needed. When she has come over her and SD stay upstairs and you barely know she's here. I guess I'm crazy for agreeing to it, but it made SD very happy that I did. :-)

I've offered to keep BM's s son and stepson before just to give them a little break.

I doubt her SS would ever come but it's been considered.

I don't see an issue as long as everyone involved is ok with it. It's just babysitting.

Seems like it's basically like SD having a friend over. I don't see what the issue would be.

I only remember you from one other post. You don't want your kids to visit you when they are adults. That's all I remember about you. I don't remember user names very well.
