So this is a skid issue. SD13, almost 14, has been putting her tampon applicators in the trash. I know I should be more green, but I use flushables because it grosses me out. Well SD doesn't, and that's fine. But she isn't even wrapping them in toilet paper or anything. And it kind of grosses me out. So should I say something to her or tell DH and have him say something? Or let it go?

I would say, hey girl, can you please wrap up your applicators cause it grosses me out. Thanks.

Don't make a big deal of it, but do let her know what is expected.

Thats gross, I am sorry. I would certainly say something to dh about it.

We have a pretty good relationship. I would hate to embarrass her. You don't think telling DH will?

SD11 does the same with her pads I had to teach her how to roll it in toilet paper because no one taught her how. And she should hear it from you because periods are so embarrassing to teenage girls

Nothing wrong with just asking her to please wrap her tampon applicators, just explain that it isn't polite to leave them uncovered that she wouldn't leave toilet paper with feces on it in the trashcan for everyone to see, that it is just polite and hygenic to wrap them up.

Is talking to her personally about it an option? If you are concerned about embarrassing her, maybe you should try that if possible, first.

Ahhh mine just throw their pads straight in the trash and don't even fold them up, grody! I would just tell her hey, this is the correct way to dispose of your bloody mess, and tell her to wrap it up, in nicer words probably lol

I'd just ask her privately. It shouldn't be that big of a deal if you don't make it embarrassing.

If you have a good enough relationship with her, I would mention it to her. Otherwise bring it up to DH.

That would drive me crazy too by the way. Ewwwww!

Yeah. I'm a pretty typical EOWE SM to her. We get along. I'm actually the one she opens up to about things.
