I wanted to share this with all Mama's! Especially those SMs who have a difficult time bonding with their SKs. You might not be "Mom" - and your SKs realize this. Use this as your Parenting Philosophy! :) It's amazing at how quickly it turns attitudes and actions around! :)

And, also, this next one, I love. I do this every night before I go to bed. :)

Have a wonderful Sunday and a blessed week! :)

awesome! also show them that you love them and tell them too! they really do need both!

above all else, have fun! life is way too short, especially childhood, to not have as much fun as possible! who cares what you look like doing it to other people! your kids memories are more important than strangers opinions!

ODD is 18. I go to bed before her so I always kiss her good morning. And she is still asleep!

This was very sweet. My mantra has always been "Be Kind".

I have a nightime ritual with my kids, with a saying. When I come in their rooms, they start the saying before I even kiss them! Love it!

I definitely agree with saying yes as often as you can-it seems to me that too many parents just say no automatically. I try to find reasons to say yes.

I'm enjoying hearing what other mom's do with their children as far as their "philosophy" or bedtime ritual. I thought I'd provide something positive and ALL about the CHILDREN in our lives! :)

I hope more share as the day goes on! Thanks for those who've shared this far.
