We r custodial. She pays no support. Never has except 20 bucks in 2010 for 4 k. She doesnt buy clothes, shoes, coats.....nothing.
So jow long after school starts is it "ok" to not send any supplies?
I dont wanna over step and just butt in and do it. I also dont wanna be "that guy" that doesnt even send the kid with a back pack and a pencil. I will be tge one to drop him off everyday so it will reflect on me. Ugh.
We split SD school supplies with BM every year. Well this year SD said BM only bought her 3 out of the 9 things on her list. I told SD not to worry, I have 2 large drawers full of paper, notebooks, pencils, erasers (sev. different kinds), pens, markers, crayons, map pencils, rulers, school boxes, you name it, I probably have it in at least 4 different colors!! Sd asked if she could get into the supply drawers, I told her absolutely. Her open house is next week and if she didn't have all of her supplies from BM then, I'd keep her bag that she picked from the supplies in my car and bring them in after BM left. That way BM doesn't know any differnt and SD knows that she is being taken care of. I don't think that's overstepping, that's helping out SD.
how would you be overstepping? if you didnt believe she was going to actually do it then you should have been prepared for that and just buy them yourself
