Serious Kuddos to VA DSS!!!

So... Dh and I brought ss back to VA for his forensic interview with DSS and filed ex parte motion for other two kids (victims sex abuse by oldest ss) BM head in clouds as of now. VA wouldn't accept the ex parte because there is DSS involvement. They said DSS has to file. Dh called VA DSS.. (ss brought back to BM because of safety plan.. 6 days early)

The forensic examiner from VA and the caseworker assigned in VA are traveling 5-6 hours to NC tomorrow to complete forensic exams on ss and sd. Then they can file at court on our behalf. They don't want them in the same home until oldest ss receives help and BM proven to adhere to safety plan.

In awe that they are willing to do this!! Kuddos!!!

Similar experience here in VA...

DH asked for a home study on BM who lives on the other side of the country. Judge gave GAL the option to go or have BMs local CPS do it. The GAL drive out there and did it herself! Kudos to the VA system again! It's also one of the few states with SP rights and an entire task force assigned to getting CS paid!
