Cyber Question

My LinkedIn and my FB is private and certain people are blocked from my account. I don't use my real name here, I don't sign up for anything. I'm very private in every way I can think of- am I doing enough? It seems that BM still finds out way too much private info about me/us, and my friends, too. Does anyone have suggestions for anything I've missed? I clearly need to plug some holes.

It depends on what stuff she is finding out.

I would be looking at your "friends" a little closer...maybe?

Write something thats a little fib and see if BM finds out. Lol. Yes,it's childish but then u know it's via Your fb or linked in profile. Lol.

Have u updated to timeline? I know before u could see on other peoples wall what you wrote if u have it set that friends can view it or comment on it even if it's a friend. Of friend. ??

Sorry. I can't explain it.

I agree-watch thru friends-not only that-but possibly family too-could DH possibly have "slipped up" and mentioned some things to BM?! The skids?! or even your inlaws?

I learned the hard way about BM finding certain things out due to sd11 "overhearing" conversations between DH and myself or dh with his family and sd would let bm know.

BM is not allowed to speak with us; she is only permitted to email DH. It's really freaky, and hard to explain. We will be talking about stuff, either having a conversation or emailing each other back and forth during the day, and then BM will send an email that responds to the topic. In real time. One example, we were talking with SD at dinner about a question we had about her team. No one had their phones; we were just talking and eating. DH's phone toned the indication that he got an email. It was BM answering our question. Here's another one: A friend emailed me asking if SD could come to her daughter's party; I said it wasn't our weekend and that she'd need to clear it with BM directly. While my friend was typing her response to me, she gets an email from BM saying SD couldn't attend the party. Another: BM sent a nasty email and before DH responded, he sent it to me to get my opinion. I responded to him with my opinion with some supporting facts for him to consider. BM sent another email saying that I had my facts wrong. It's stuff like this, and it happens a lot. I don't know what to think.

This is serious stuff.  You need to determine if she's been in your house.  Check for audio or visual spy" stuff.  Seriously.  The 1st issue is that no one had their phones when y'all were eating and she replied to DH's phone?  That's a real problem...is is possible that one of the skids had their phone on?  This is a breach of your family/household security.  You really need to check out your computer, your phones, and the interior of your home.  Then change the locks.  Obtain copies of ALL replies she sends...create a paperwork trail.  One or two times could be mere coincidence, 3 or more is an indication that something needs to be looked at ASAP.  Good luck

You would be amazed at what someone (with the right software) can find out with just your email addy. It's kind of scary actually.
