DH is mad at me...

SKids are both having sleep overs tonight. So, I've been chasing 4 kids since 8:30 am when they were dropped off while DH was at work.

I cooked dinner and babysat DH's niece when BIL dropped her off for 2 hours. (5kids for those 2 hours).

DH fell asleep RIGHT after dinner in the living room at 7pm. Didn't even occur to him to help with cleaning up supper. Or to do anything for that matter.

Niece left at 7:30. I woke DH up twice to say goodbye to her. Another time to ask if he wanted to watch Jeopardy together.

At 8 I woke him again, asked if he wanted to play a board game with kiddos and me.

At 8:30 I woke him to say goodnight to SD (she wanted to go to bed).

At 9:30 I woke him to say goodnight to SS.

I then cleaned house for about 40 minutes. Laundry, dishes, toys, etc. And woke DH again to tell him I was going to bed.

At 11:45 he wakes up, comes into the bedroom, and starts yelling.

"Why didn't you wake me up! You cheated me out of saying goodbye to my niece and goodnight to my kids! You're so damn selfish! What is WRONG with you?!"

"I did wake you up, you did say goodbye to Niece and goodnight to kiddos."

"Are you calling me a liar! What do you think I am, stupid? No you didn't."

Okaaaayyyy. I woke you 7 times dickweed!

(This happens almost once a week. He falls asleep and then blames me for it.)

Umm, I don't know what to say.  I wouldn't be married to someone like that, seriously I wouldn't.

If he doesn´t wake up when you do it nicely, take a cup with cold water and pour it in his face and say "There, I tried to wake you up, didn´t work. Are you awake NOW?"

Tell him to ask the kids. Sounds like he needs to stay up.

I didn't really care one way or another if he got up. But him shouting at me for not waking him up, when I did, pisses me off.

Wow that's strange maybe he has some type of sleep problem. Isn't it awesome how guys can fall asleep anywhere but we women stay awake and know we have people to take care of. Lazy. I'd

Him yelling at you like that is unacceptable. My dh has fallen asleep in the living room all week. (he had a rough week at work they kicked his butt). And it's no big deal, but he also doesn't get up and start yelling at me. When he realizes he's in there he gets up and just says good night and goes to bed. No yelling no berating.
