Three times I replied with the same answer, and three times she deleted her post. Did she not get the answer she wanted? Will she try again?

To the OP - the man doesn't want to have a relationship with you. He doesn't like you. He wants a relationship with his father, not you. Let his father speak to him. It's dumb to say if he doesn't want both of you, then he can go to hell. He's your husband's son. Get over yourself and stop making it about you.

There. You can't delete that.

Yeah.  Sounds like a classic case of "needs to butt out".

An adult child has every right to set his own boundaries.  And a sm or sf really is insecure if they want to force an adult child to deal with them.  It's stupid.  It's childish.  Grow up.

It's ok to be hurt.

It is not ok to disrespect an adults boundaries.

It's ok to feel angry.

It's not ok to interfere between a parent and a child.

It's ok to set your own boundaries.

It is not ok to set your husband's. He is a big boy.

It's ok to be a reindeer

It's not ok to be a reindeer who makes fun of other reindeer.

I never responded after the first one. He's 26, he's a grown freaking man. Don't like what he's doing? What are you going to do? Take away his keys and ground him?

When will people realize that you can't "raise" an adult?

But yes, I agree. If he doesn't want to have a relationship with his SM, that's his choice as a person, let alone an adult. If he was a 10 year old kid who didn't like his step mom, would it be right to then tell him that he can't see his own father because of it? It's not any different with him being 26, except its a little more pathetic that someone is trying to control how he feels.
