A Question in Mind, Nothing Serious Just Personal Opinions:)

I've been reading many posts, and reading articles on first and last loves. Which is better?

"It is better to be someones first love or last?"

It can be for anything, kids, marriages, sex partners, etc. There were so many different subjects on that question.

When it comes to my DH, I'm quite happy to be his last love. As to the kids, I know I won't be their last, but I am honored to be their first loves. And I hope when they find their last love, that the person is truly deserving of that gift.

I don't think it matters.

I'd rather be last because typically that first love is the learning love and doesn't last. But I didn't find my true love until I was 35. I had a lot of life lessons and growing to do on my own first.

I am my Dh's first love. I think it is special that we have those memories. Gives us something to talk about. When we have "good ole days" conversations, we are frequently in each others stories. I love knowing that we both know what each other looked like from a very young age. We are very close because of it. We have memories no one else has.

you never really know when you are someone's last love until they die.

It's best to be someone's current love.

Last - that means you're the one they chose to in the end spend the rest of their life with ... If you're just the first - that could mean that there was a second etc after ...

I think the way some of these women act, puts them at extreme risk for NOT being the "last".

but, they thought they chose the "first" one to be the one to spend the rest of their life with. And turns out they changed their mind.
