happy halloween

We love Halloween in our home!

Here is my son's costume. I made the "head" and the shirt. The sword is store bought. Minecraft is HUGE in our house... this is my son's fav character from the game. :)

sd is going to be minnie mouse princess. Hopefully that is if I can find a black hat and get her ears and bow onto it before halloween.

 Thanks ladies!

I am not much of a sewer or painter but I can measure, cut and glue with the best of them! LOL

It was fun. And seeing his face light up like a Chistmas tree when he saw it - Priceless!

My son is with dad this Halloween...he is going as a zombie. My ex is awesome with theatrical makeup so it should be good.

He was originally going to go as Minion with his baby sister but she refuses to keep the costume on so that idea was nixed.

Are the blocks construction paper or is it painted on?

The squares are card stock. I got the box first (9 x 9) and then made 1.5 x 1.5 squares. There was a little extra space between each square, so I did a little coloring in between them with marker.

The hardest part was trying to make each square "pixel" the same size! A paper cutter definitely would have made the job easier.
