Me and my husband rarely argue while raising my kids from my previous marriage but when his son comes every other weekend it is pure horrible. Kids argue. Spouse argues with me n takes sides. We have tried counseling. I am so over it.

From the very tiny bit of information in your post, I am guessing your soon-to-be-exhusband feels like he has to defend his child against you.

I suppose your children are perfect angels who never do anything wrong.

SCs are demons who torment you and your precious snowflakes.

Right?

What is the common theme of the arguments? If there is one.

Is the counseling just between the adults or is it family? And how long has this been going on?

I would need more specific examples of what's going on before I could say anything.

Virtual hugs**

Sounds like dad is allowing sc to get away with things out of stone kind of guilt and then when you speak up he becomes defensive

They are there four days a month. Id say get over it. I'm sure your kids annoy him too at times. You probably don't fight about your kids because your DH is either more understanding of annoying kids or he's less vocal about it.

Kids don't have the power to ruin your marriage.  Only the adults do.

I would need more information in order to help you on your situation. Good luck to you either way...
