The cs order has payments being taken from bms paycheck effective 4/4. As of today the cs office has no payments. Does anyone know how long it takes to get the first payment? If bm quit would the cs office be informed of this? We're just trying to figure out what's going on. Thanks!

+ update +
Well the cs office said they hadn't processed the paperwork into their electronic system so that's why nothing was available online. Today the info became available. No payments have been made in almost a month. Bm had previous arrears and the website is showing that her current arrears are being added to the previous amount and bm now owes over $4000. Does anyone know what actions will be taken against her? I ask on here because it literally takes dh an hour to get someone on the phone and usually they don't give him correct info anyways.

Dh finally got in touch with cse. Apparently bm changed jobs like RIGHT after the cs hearing and never reported it. They already found the new job and are attempting to garnish her wages but if they don't get a payment by may 2nd her license is getting suspended. They also already reported to the Irs that the $4000 in arrears is to come out of her taxes. They have already sent bm notices that she's not replying to and the next step after license suspension is to suspended her state license (she works in the medical field), they will freeze her bank account report to her credit report, and put a lien on her car. Bm committed welfare fraud for two years getting money for sd until dh filled for cs and I guess they aren't going easy on her now..

Do you know when her pay dates are?  It could be that her paycheck has just not been processed yet.

Her employer has to send the payments in.  When does she get paid?

She gets paid bi-weekly so in three Weeks she has to have gotten paid at least once. The cs office has no records of payments and bm has been around much more often than she has since she started working 6 months ago. The cs office said they haven't processed everything in their system yet (should be finished up in about a week) but if a payment hasn't been made by then, theyll start the process of going after her for the payment.

DH had a similar issue. He was told by the CS caseworker that the employer can submit the payments as they garnish them, or submit the payments at the end of the month. So, wait until May 1st. If there's nothing, your DH should call and ask

Its always so frustrating because everyone dh speaks to has a different answer for him. Either way we know we have to wait until may to know what's going on.

My DH's case is through the state department of CS enforcement, that makes it a bit easier for him as he has a caseworker that's specifically assigned to his case that he can call whenever he has questions.

FL Child support offices are horrid.  PM me with your county and if we are in the same area I can give you some info I have gotten from my local office.  I hate hate hate calling in.

The will notify the credit agencies, then they will suspend her drivers license and then finally if she still

pays nothing they will take her to court.  The judge then decides whether or not she is in contempt.
