Whether it's your BK or SK is make up ok at 10? Not colored Chapstick or lip gloss ... Eyeliner mascara eyeshadow etc?? I don't think it is. What are your thoughts?

Not acceptable for my son and only DD for dance productions, otherwise no.

Not for any 10 year olds that live in my house. No way.

It depends on sooo many factors. DD had a phase (around 10 or 11) where she loved it when we went out. The full monty! She barely has any other way to express herself (school uniform all week, no jewellery unless it's religious or ear studs, no lipgloss, no nail polish (not even clear), no hairstyles but hair put back in a ponytail or braids), so why shouldn't she?

She is 14 now, and I consider myself lucky if I can actually get her to wash the horse shit off. I'd swap that for make-up any day!

I would say no. I don't have a daughter of my own, but I say no to my SDs too. I let them get in my make-up around the house. But not for school or in public.

MY ds is 10.  I hope girls in his class aren't wearing make up.  Too young, IMO.  Play at home maybe ok but not out in public.

ETA* I have boys though... wish I had to think about this. ;) I want a girl

No.  There is no need for a child to wear make-up.
