Hello Fellow step Moms,
I have only been a step mom for less than 2 years.Ive been so disheartened by the lack of effort for the girls to reach out to me and there dad.So I've decided to pray for them each a half hour daily and trust the Lord with them.I know that God is in control. It doesn't change the fact that I'm hurt but it does give me a sense of peace. They are amazing girls just being fed mis truths.

Prayer definitely helps! I too used prayer in the beginning (and now) to help me overcome various issues in steplife, including jealousy and resentment. I would definitely encourage Sms to pray. I know yours will be answered.

Prayer changes the one doing it.

Not the other way around.

if prayer helps your soul then I think it's a good idea but remember, God's plan may not be exactly what you think it should be. I'm a big fan of God's and am never above asking him to help me fix myself.

I am a fan of prayer and it works, even if God says 'wait'.
