So im new to this forum (will post an introduction later) but from what I have seen so far, a lot of sms post questions and situations where they want advice. People give them their advice or opinions (good or bad) and then the original poster focuses more on defending themselves and telling the person they are wrong. Why do yall do this? Are you hoping everyone is just going tl agree with you?

Welcome to Cafe Mom. It gets worse in other forums.

Yes, they would like to commiserate with others more than finding a solid solution. Most already have their mind made up when they post. They are just wanting validation for some poor choices.

Yes...and no. Some do just want validation, don't like to be told they are wrong, etc...but some just don't like being spoken to in a rude, snarky, condescending manner.
