HELP with nutrition!! UPDATE!!

Dh, bm and myself all just met with a therapist for ss. Ss did not attend the first meeting. Dh and I really liked her, she made sense and wants us to cut sugar out of his diet (really everyones) and see if that improves his vomiting and attitude. During therapy bm said she would absolutely make the changes and seemed very willing..
As soon as we walked out the door.. she said she is not sure about any of it and left.
So dh and I are trying to find resources to help with the dietary change.. but we feel that it won't be effective if it's not followed at bm's for 50% of the time

Ss cholesterol levels are still awful. And his triglycerides have sky rocketed. He is now at 211..
However, nieces labs just came back and her cholesterol dropped from 189 to 170 and triglycerides from 155 to 83!!!

I did not screw up like I thought I did. Dh said he would pen an email to bm.. I do not see this going well. DH is very upset that our efforts at home 50% of the time have had zero impact on ss health which is counteracting by bm.

Sign up for nutrisystem maybe? Split the food between the houses or just have it all sent to hers.

Is that what nutrisystem is, sugar free?

Can you talk to her about why she isn't sure about any of this? You might be able to convince her to try it for at least a month to see if it helps because doing nothing certainly won't change a thing. (Beat her with brute reason - lol.)

Dh said he will talk to her once we figure out a plan to do this.

So, I havent talked about this on here but LO (13 months) is really over weight. We're not sure why. Multiple specialists are trying to figure it out.

Currently I'm tracking his Intake through the app MyFitnessPal. And we're seeing a nutritionist.

Its a nutritional plan that sends premade meals and snacks monthly. I don't know that it is completely sugar free but it is an diet program.

It would probably be easier to get BM on bored if its easy, and then at your house just keep him strictly on a clean diet on DH time. That would be an improvement. Really having him follow the whole30 plan for a month would cleanse his system of sugar but that's hard to follow when you want to do it, I don't see you all getting BM on board for that.

Babies can be fat.. once they start running around they tend to slim down.
Thank you for the app info, I will check that out.

I wish I had some advice for you. I'm sorry! It really sucks that BM doesn't seem to have ever taken SS's health very seriously.
