In hindsight now that you are a SM, would that have changed your desicion to marry DH??

Unless you didn't find out he had a kid until after you were married, this shouldn't really be question.

I think that no matter how much you think you know what you're getting into, you never fully know until you're IN it.

That being said, I wish I had spoken to many a step mom before I elected to marry my husband.

I'm not a stepmother.  I made the decision never to date a man with children after my divorce so I never "just" fell in love with a father.  I had enough going on not to add other people's children into things.

I’d marry my dh again however; if we were to divorce, I don’t think I would marry another man with kids.

I would have kept dating my DH and waited to marry after his daughter was grown and out on her own...
