We go to great lengths to make this group a safe place for expectant mothers to explore their feelings and options without being flooded with messages from hopeful adoptive parents wanting to raise their baby.

Today you will still find that the majority of adoption information available is still tilted towards adoption being a "loving choice", a "win-win" situation for everyone involved.

In this group you will find the information necessary to make an INFORMED choice for or against adoption. Adoption is based first and foremost on loss. The mother loses a child, the child loses their natural parents, ancestry, history, medical information, sense of belonging.

We have mothers of many backgrounds ~ ones who are fairly new to life as a natural mom, and ones who have lived decades with adoption. Moms with closed and open adoptions, as well as open adoptions that were closed by the adoptive family.
