Are you glad you had the experience or not?
My very first job was working for my dad. I just sat at the computer and typed... i was working on creating his work manual. LOL. I didn't do it too often though.
My first "real" job was a gate guard at the lake down the road from us. It was just a summer job though, but a lot of fun. I basically got to sit out and tan all day, and read/color or whatever i wanted.
After that i worked at a movie theater for over a year. That was not always my favorite job, but i got into movies for free... so the perks were nice.
Then i worked at Walgreens. I got good retail experience there, and when i worked in the photo lab it helped me understand about exposing/developing photos. Which got me interested in photography!
My first job was as a life guard at at water park. It was a good experience but I was so shy then I didn't have as much fun as I would have later. The next year I started working at a restaurant, which is a job I kept at various positions (hostess, busser, waitress) for 5 or 6 years. That was a great experience and I made desent money throughout high school and college.
I worked at an amusement park and it was a wonderful experience
I worked usually just for the summer so it worked out perfectly
A waitress and a barista. I started at 15 (I lived in South Dakota), and kept a job throughout high school. I'm glad I had to work because it taught me how to handle money responsibly.
Yep,I had a few summer jobs as a teen.
