Quoting blsdbyangel07:dry beans goes a long ways..... I like big butter beans. Soak em then throw em in a pan on the stove. During the last 15 minutes take flaky canned biscuits and peel them apart drop them in the beans and let em plump up like dumplings. Sooo good!
Zatarains rice mixes and sausage or chicken mixed in makes a meal
Spanish Rice mixes and chicken or pork mixed in (get boneless porkchops, cook normal, then cut up and throw into rice)
Tacos
pasta and meatballs
grilled ham and cheese with soup
salads with chicken or steak as the protein
mac and cheese with hamburger meat or chicken cutlet thrown in.....
