What are some affordable meal recipes that your family enjoys?

 spaghetti, meatloaf

We do lots of simple things

crock pot pulled pork/chicken over pasta.....

pasta is always cheap, there are SO many options with pasta.

Potatoes also, you can get a mini ham for a few dollars a few bricks of cheese and slice the potatoes toss with chunked ham and melt the cheese into a sauce, mix and serve.

oven stuffer chicken can be multiple meals.

Cook for dinner and serve. DINNER 1

Pick off any meat and boil the carcass. Strain bones. Add veggies and potatoes and picked off chicken DINNER 2

OR

Pick off leftover meat, (boil carcass for broth when sick and freeze) and chopp meat. Make into chicken salad or pinwheels or casserol DINNER 3

canned tuna fish is also cheap and makes various meals. regular tuna salad on a sandwich or a can onto a salad.

Are pinwheels wrapped in tortillas? I have never had them...

stir fry!  I bought a giant bag of stir fry veggies at Costco for $6, some brown riceat trader Joes for $3 and that's 3-4 meals worth of rice for my family of 4 and at least 12 meals worth of veggies.
