This is a huge one for me.  I keep a grocery list on the fridge that we can add to continuously, in order to hopefully have a comprehensive list of what we need.

Always Use a List When You Go Grocery Shopping

It's simple. When we don't shop from a list, we spend more money. So take the time each week to write down what you intend to buy from the store, and stick to it. This Printable Grocery Shopping List will help you plan out meals and avoid those mid-week trips to pick up forgotten items.

Those are all great tips!  Thanks!  I do try to have the grocery list.  It helps when you do

Fast Food can really wreck your food budget...and fast. Have you tried meal planning?

Quoting HTMommy:

That last one about fast food, thats our weakness.....we spend WAY too much on take out....we get lazy and order out all the time....I shudder to think how much we spend esp when its on average of 30 to 40 dollars each time....no wonder we are broke.

These are good ideas, especially meal planning. That's a big way to save money...and reduce the stress level.
