I cut about $25 off my electric bill each month with 4 power stips that had switches on them. I have 2 TV's and 2 Computers, so I put one power strip by each tv and plugged in the TV, DVD, game system, stereo etc, I put one by each computer and plugged in the computer, monitor, speakers, printer etc. We have set tv and computer times so they aren't in use for over 20 hours a day and each of the itmes I mention uses electricity even when it's turned off. So when I turn off the tv or the computer, I flip the switch and everything stop using electricity.
