House cleaning tip #2

To prevent the wax from melting and sticking to the inside of a votive candle holder, pour a bit of water in the holder, then place the candle on top.

If you're reading this tip too late, and there's already wax stuck inside your candle holder, pop it in the freezer for an hour. The wax will chip right off.

Good to know. I have never successfully removed wax from a votive candle holder.

I'll try this! I saw that if you spray the inside of the candle holder with Pam the wax should pop out also. I haven't tried it though lol. I haven't had any little candles around lately.
