Saturday date without or with little money ideas please
Please ladies I need some ideas. Usually when my parents take the kids we would go out shopping and go for a meal but we need to keep our money because I'm a bridesmaid at my cousins wedding and that will be expenssive. My parents offered to take the kids for the day and I'm out of ideas. I don't really want to stay home and do nothing. We need something to relax together. Any ideas? Please share all the ideas you have. Thanks a bunch!
Picnic in the park, a romantic walk, movie at home with popcorn
One of dh's favorite things to do thats free is to take the dog down the the creek/hiking trail...even if you don't have a dog to walk maybe you could find bike trails or hiking paths close to you and pack a lunch.
There's a book called Coffee Dates on a Dime that has a bunch of ideas. It can vary a lot based on what area you live and what you like to do. You can hang out at Starbucks or someplace similar, but to me that would be punishment because I think the smell of coffee is horrid!
A deck of cards, a jug of wine, and each other. Use your imagination.
I'd relax at home.. pop in some movies you havne't seen in a while..
maybe have a few drinks at home..
But check your local newpaper, they have ads a lot of times for events going on that aren't expensive.. for example, bowling specials, dinner specials, band and benefits specials, etc...
