What are some things you are doing this summer to save?

Nothing too major that we dont usually do.Taking food when we go to the amusement parks and cooking ahead for our 1 week vacation so we dont have to eat out every day.We will prob try and not turn on the ac at all unless we're dying to keep the elec bill down.

The Museum Pass Program at local libraries gives discounted or free admissions to area museums. The Museum Passport Program is similar: you purchase an annual family pass and get free or discounted admission to museums across the country. We paid about $65 for ours and got into Chicago's Field Museum for free. It paid for itself in no time!

We are using a family members cabin on the lake for vacation. We pack our own lunches and snacks when we go to the zoo or somewhere. We check out the free events where we live and towns close to us.

 getting a pool pass that causes you to only pay 2 dollars a visit instead of the five everyday. and sometimes we go the last hour of the pool and its free. sometimes we get free passes because there is a boy that works the front desk who is struck on my daughter! we also pack a picnic lunch and bring our own drinks instead of buying at the restaurant there. it saves alot of money.
