I receive a lot of these offers in the mail from companies that offer to refinance our home and significantly reduce our payment and drop the interest rate on our house by a point. I get them a lot, and wondered if anyone knows if these type of things are legitimate.

I think the ones that pursue you by mail aren't likely to be legit, but if you're truly interested in possibly refinancing your home, you can do it better at a bank or mortgage company, etc.
