Quoting Kelly913:Hmm, not what I thought the story would be. She still needs things that others buy with money, she just trades ehr time for them. That's not really any different than all the people who work for a living, trading most of their day for a paycheck is it?
Getting a paycheck is just a form of bartering, really. Still, getting a paycheck has taken top priority in many people's lives to the exclusion of family time. Many people just can't enjoy life any more thanks to the pursuit of the almighty dollar. I admire that she's able to live a minimalist life and is willing to give up a lot of material things.
