I just ransacked the clearance section and got some super nice church shoes for my 2 boys for $3 each, church shoes for my oldest daughter $3, tennis shoes for kids # 2, 3, and 4 for $5 each, and an extra pair of shoes for #3 (oldest daughter) to grow into for $4. Total $28 (before tax) for 7 pairs of shoes. I also got 2 long sleeve White shirts with ties for my boys for $5 each.
The little city I went to is quite economically depressed, so the stores are overflowing with stuff. At the Walmart the other night there were just plastic storage tubs FULL of clearance items - and there were 3 aisles dedicated to clearance. That's how everything is there, apparently. Anyway, I'm just excited I got my kids some much needed shoes, and they can pass down fairly well to the younger ones.
