This is the first year we are trying public school. In years past we have had uniforms, trips even copy paper was supplied by the parents. This year we just had to buy the basics (backpack, folders, pencils). I don't really know what we will have to pay out this year because we have never done this before.

I will have to buy the normal supples of course and some new shoes and clothes for my son since he has grow so much since last school year. Thankfully, we do not have to buy uniforms or pay dues (that I know of).

Thank heavens for back to school sales in so many local stores. Just about finished with basic school supply needs.

Having a budget made it easy-breezy to buy the needed items for the start of school.
