Yes. It wasn't a lot of money, just $35, but the experience left me very suspicious of anything that remotely smells like a scam.

I never have been. Dh did a timeshare and it took forever to get rid of it and he lost a lot of money on the deal. He was also an idiot and got involved in a pyramid scam.

Only once and it was a dumb scam. I gave away a walker and bouncer to a family in need,they posted both for sale on Craigs List the next day.
