So ladies! Looking for a new bank/ credit union. We curretly live in NC and have no military associations. We also currently use the devil that is Bank of America. I do like their mobile app so if the credit union had that it would be a nice advantage. Been looking at ING but not 100% with it. Any advice?

wow not sure and I live in NC. Nc is so big and there are reginal banks here as well as banks all over the state but not in some places etc. Like where I live there are some banks that are not in other towns or citys and visa versa. Depends on what region your in and what banks there are to offer I guess? I have several bank accounts for various reasons at a few different banks. I even have a State Employees Credit Union account because of my Dad. ( you can only become member if invited & added on by someone who is a member if your not in it sort of thing) theirs is pertty good

I used ING before I liked the higher interest rates but didn't like that I couldn't get paper checks from them at the time. I had to have a local bank so I could pay certain bills by check. That may have changed and they might offer them now. It's been awhile since I had my accounts with them

We have had savings with them for years and did about a year of checking. They have paper checks now, but our problem was cashing checks from family. We had to keep another account for that purpose, but other than that we liked ING.
