Happy Deaf Awareness Day to everyone!

Do you know anyone who is deaf? Can you sign?

I have been signing since I was young. I have found it helpful.

My mother's friend's father is deaf and I don't know sign language and I don't think his daughter knows it either. He will be 83 years old. I don't think sign language was popular years ago and think most deaf people read lips. Just my opinion. My MIL wears two hearing aids, so I don't think you would consider her deaf.
