It's hard to save, pay off debt, stay on budget, and stay on track financially.

So as a reminder of how great we're all doing brag about what you've accomplished over the last few months. No matter how big or small.

I opened up a savings account for ds on Tuesday. It's set up so $20 from each paycheck will go into the account. That $40 a month will really add up by the time ds is older.

I opened up my first savings account and have $40 a paycheck going into it. I realized if there was ever an emergency I'd be screwed because I had nothing put on the side.

We've been paying our bills on time :) lol..I know that sounds simple but with dh's garnishment it's not always that easy. It takes so much stress away when we're able to get things cleared right away!

this economy is so out of control now. Today I had an estimate quote on the last big job in our new house...tiling the loft tub surround...sssoooo hope we can afford this guy. When we were all finished with the looking and measuring, he looked me straight in the eye and said"if you ever want to sell your home, please call me first" My jaw droped to the floor...we are looking to put our dream home on the market later on....we want it all finished first...We LOVE it, we just built too big....I felt very honored...he may just get a call sooner than he thinks...:) He may be tiling this bath for himself.

We're stocked up on meat for the next several months, although I'd love more fish in the freezer.

We saved over $4000 in interest alone by taking out a debt consolidation loan with a super low interest rate.

We have all our bills caught up!! I just paid off my capital one card in full. Kept it in case of an emergency, so we don't have to dig into savings. I also cancelled my victoria secret card last. I never use it.
I'm getting married may 18, 2013. We plan on refinancing the house that was just bought in my name- so wee been doing lots of credit control on him. (his credit blows because ex took out a bunch of stuff in his name when they were separated while he was deployed to afghanistan. Stupid girl )
