I hope to be able to travel the world and enjoy grandkids
When we built our dream house, we knew we would use alot of our retirement money to do it. we did well and have a very SMALL mortgage on it. It has been appraised between 258,000 and 227,00...a great price in our area...most homes sell for around 100,000..150,000. We were floored when we got the appraisal, BUT we feel we would like to sell it. We absolutely LOVE it and where it is...we sit between 2 lakes and use them both every week. Our home is just too big for us....We most likely will put it on the market. we have 5 beautiful acres situated all around us is a nature preserve so no more land will be sold unless it is an existing house/land deal. Pretty sweet. We love to travel, pretty much we go stateside or the few states around us. We have seen most of our country and I made the trip to Alaska by road all across Canada,....so we are localizing mostly. I have not see Hawaii but now that I am older there is not much appeal. We loved New England and Alaska ,Maine and New Hampshire was to die for and even Washington state was gorgeous, the south...not so much. Illinois and Idaho are pretty much the same...Texas was hotter than.....well, very hot... I feel the same about Florida, there were so many people...Before I die, I would like to see the Grand Canyon..we love seeing our grandkids...that is where our hearts are now.....tune in next time to hear the rest of the book...
I love your state, when I was a little girl my parents took us to Mackinaw Bridge..remember it well. Your views and waterways are gorgeous...

Hoping to stay right here and enjoy the scenery. Enjoy grandkids when they come about. Maybe do some traveling every few years. We bought this house and land knowing it would be somewhere we want to stay forever. We are walking distance to the Ausable river, within a 20 mile radius of about 5-7 different inland lakes. And about an hour each direction to 2 of the Great lakes or the mackinaw bridge.
