Do you cover the windows with plastic, add insulation strips around doors, etc.

Quoting momto3isme:

We'll get firewood for the fireplace.  Check for any drafts by the doors or windows.

We get fire wood too

I hang up a curtain in the doorway that leads to our back nook. It keeps so much cold air out. I cover up one window in our living room..

We cover the north windows with plastic and I will also be buying the thick curtains to keep the cold out. Other than, we don't do anything else. Except fill our propane tanks and we just requested a delivery yesterday. It is 10ยข cheaper right now than the winter pre buy price so I'd rather get a delivery now and sign up for the price cap rather than prebuy.
