Smarter Seasonal Spending Challenge Day 2: Get Creative

Posted by   + Show Post

Consider homemade gifts this year. These gifts don't just save you money - they're also more personal! Need some ideas? Bake cookies, make a big batch of hot chocolate, or print a photo and find a nice frame.  If you're not crafty, consider buying candles or ornaments in bulk. You can divide them up and give them to multiple people.

How will you save on gifts this year?

home made cookies is an every year thing for me. This year I think I will give cooking "lessons" to my cousin whom is like a sister to me, she is newly married and due to some physical and mental disabilities has never really stepped into the "homebody" role. Maybe some free babysitting coupons for other family and friends

We wanted to get family pictures done and give them to the parents this year but it is looking like that wont be happening :( So maybe some hot chocolate and some kid decorated mugs? :)
