Bake cookies, make a big batch of hot chocolate, or print a photo and find a nice frame.  If you're not crafty, consider buying candles or ornaments in bulk. You can divide them up and give them to multiple people.

I have been on listia trying to earn points, and I plan on going to the dollar store.

I make a lot of gifts.  I'm making each of my four kids a quilt this year and I make embroidery and applique gifts for other family members.  I also try to make food gives or homemade ornaments for teachers and co-workers.

This year we our making a photo collage for SO's mom with pics of all of us kids(SO, me, his bro and sisters) and then a photo album with pics in it for his dad. They have everything so I thought that would be neat. I'm making homemade cookies for SO to take to work for his employees, also.

We've done homemade gifts for birthdays, Mother's Day, and Father's Day as well as Christmas. The grandparents love what the kids do. There are so many resources now to look for nice ideas.

 LOL... I will be making barbie clothes this year! I requested a sewing machine for christmas, so whatever I can make will be made!!! I love making christmas ornaments. One year I made close friends personalized decorative pillows.

Originally we weren't going to buy gifts for anyone except my dd but now I'm thinking about baking for some family. Baking still saves money I guess.

One way I plan to save is thru my hobby of entering sweeps and blog giveaways, hopefully I will win some nice stuff I can use as gifts

I earn amazon gc's by doing paid surveys and I save them up to help me at christmas time
