Those don't look very safe. lol. But no. I'd rather my kids learn how to safely use regular knives. Not following the safety rules gives them a consequence and learning experience. They won't make the same mistake twice. I wonder if we coddle our children too much nowadays, so much that they aren't learning about natural consequences of various behaviors because we have removed that dimension of learning.

I own several and I love them. My own kids help me cut things and I have used them with the kids at work for various projects. They are great!
