Have a PLAN of what you're going to buy. Don't just buy any ol' thing because you think it might make a gift for "someone" but have no idea who for.

I'm an online shopper. I do a LOT of comparison shopping between several sites before making a purchase.

When I do make an online order, I check with family (mom and DIL) to see if they want anything from that site as well...and we split the shipping.
