Tell me about a time you had Buyer's remorse.

What did you do? Keep it? Return it?

Whenever we make a big purchase, we pay in cash, research what we want, discuss it, and sleep on it. Plus I haggle to get a good deal. That keeps the buyer's remorse down to a minimum.

But before I got smart with money, my ex husband and I financed a $2000 sofa. It was red and pretty, but if we wore white shirts on it, over time they became slightly tinged pink. Plus it looked like crap by the time we paid it off. Stupid stupid couch!!!

I'm the same way! We went car shopping this weekend and I just couldn't do it.. I know the guy was offering us a good deal, but I just couldn't because I knew I'd regret it. We decided to just keep our old car until it completely dies while saving up some more..

I have buyers remorse every time we make a big purchase, even if it's needed and within our budget. Every time I sign papers for a car I feel like I want to vomit! You should have seen me sign our mortgage papers.
