i did this two years ago for christmas. they were awesome. i saved the cans over the course of the year. with the decorations, and cookie mixes, i had christmas gifts for 28 people and spent maybe 10 bucks.
helpful hint: make the dough ball a half inch instead of the regular size or they wont fit into the can.
