We have a little over 4 years on the van since we just got it in April. Do people really finance cars for 6-7 years? We were amazed the dealer just assumed we'd be paying for 6-7 years....

Hubby's is a lease, that will be ending in July.

No payments cost $800 from  a car auction. Not my dream car but very reliable.

2 are, 1 is not. Has 4 more years on it. As soon as our cc debt Is gone this year, I'll be making double payments on the van so hoping for 2 years but expecting it to take 3.

Ha! I totaled my car on the 28th with just over $4k left to pay on it. My car was retailed at $6245 so State Farm paid it off and we used $1500 to put a down payment on a 3006 Chevy Equinox. Paid $8k for it after the down payment. Had only 95k miles on it too! No rust, nearly perfect interior...I love it! We plan to have this paid off by next summer!
