do you think this is a good deal to start & work on.....
yoga?!
http://www.ddpyoga.com/site/index.php/en/
this video from DDP yoga was on the "Today show" today & idk?! almost $75.00 for the begining set of yoga?!
i would love to lose weight (im around 200 & it it hurts & annoys me to be "over weight" & had 3herina surgerys.)
is there better cheaper ways for learning yoga?
I personally would not spend that money until I tried yoga other ways and then only if I really liked it and planned on sticking with it. Check your local stations to see if they have yoga shows you can tape (early morning usually, my guess) or see if youtube has videos you can try. I would also go to my local thrift store or consignment shop and see what they have in the way of dvds & equipment....a lot of people start these programs, buy all the stuff then never do it. =0)
Contact your local gyms, health centers, etc.
We have quite a few around here that offer all types of programs (like yoga, pilates, etc) at a reasonable price - much better then overspending and then not being taught the proper ways of doing it and taking the chances of hurting yourself instead of helping.
